Kate & Ritchie had the most beautiful summers day for their wedding... the sun shone all day long and it was so warm.
Kate wore the most exquisite wedding dress, with such gorgeous detailing on the back. She got ready at the fabulous Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich along with her 3 adult bridesmaids. The flowers were done by the talented Cooks florist in Stourport.
When it comes to wedding venues, there are so many options to choose from - small and intimate to grand scale. I think all types of weddings are fabulous and should reflect you as a couple, and what you would like out of your day, for you both and also all your guests, whether it be 130 people or just 20.... Kate & Ritchie's venue choice had both. The grand ceremony was held at THE MOST AMAZING CHURCH IN WORCESTER - (Yes it deserves capitals), Great Witley Church and then the intimate reception was held at Ritchie's family home, hosted by his Mum. Perfect!
Great Witley Church's interior has a richly gilded ceiling with many beautiful paintings that were completed in the 1700's. Not only is the church worth a visit in itself, it sits next to the famous ruin Witley Court which is Grade 1 listed building. Kate & Ritchie invested in being able to have some photography done around Witley Court Grounds!
After the ceremony & photos, everyone headed back to the family home to enjoy a wedding breakfast in a marquee on the back lawn of Ritchie's Mums house! Speeches were given by the tradition and then the band set up for the evenings entertainment. Kate sang a song before they did their first dance in front of everyone - and then they partied and lived happily ever after...... such a fantastic wedding that I will remember for a long time to come
